Lazhar Khelifi Short Biography


Lazhar Khelifi received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from University of Montreal in 2017. For his exceptional Ph.D. research productivity, he was awarded different excellence awards from the University of Montreal. He was also preselected by the Department of Computer Science and Operations Research (DIRO) for the best thesis award of the University of Montreal. His research interests are Image Processing, Computer Vision, Image Segmentation, Optimization and Artificial intelligence techniques. He served as a program committee member and reviewer in several journals and conferences. He is a member of the IEEE and the IEEE Signal Processing Society.
